At IIAR our mission is to provide advocacy, education, and standards for the benefit of the global community in the safe and sustainable design, installation and operation of ammonia and other natural refrigerants. Creating a positive working relationship with government agencies that are responsible for the oversight and regulation of our industry is part of our mission. In creating the First Responder and Community Awareness Portal, our goal is to help educate government affiliated first responders and emergency planning committees with technical information, tools to aid in preparation for emergency response, and health related information.
