We invite subject matter experts and industry professionals to contribute educational presentations and technical papers for the 2026 IIAR Conference. Whether you are presenting operational lessons learned, innovative technologies, regulatory updates, case studies, or technical research, your contribution helps strengthen and advance the industry.

Technical Papers & White Papers

Technical and white papers are intended for detailed technical presentations, research, case studies, operational insights, and engineering solutions relevant to industrial refrigeration professionals.


Workshops

Workshops are interactive educational sessions focused on practical learning, collaboration, and audience engagement.



Panel Discussions

Panel discussions bring together multiple industry experts to discuss emerging trends, challenges, lessons learned, and industry perspectives.

Proposal Submission Guidelines

Please review the Proposal Submission Guidelines before submitting your proposal. The guide includes information about presentation formats, topic categories, submission requirements, review criteria, important dates, and presentation expectations for technical papers, workshops, and panel discussions.

All submissions must include:

  • Title, abstract, and learning objectives
  • Author contact information
  • Practical application summary
  • Author biography
  • Author photo and signed copyright release form

Please Note:

  • Authors must select one of the presentation types in the submission form.
  • Commercialism is strictly prohibited. Submissions must remain educational and non-promotional.

Proposal  Deadlines

Technical Papers and White Papers 

  • Submission proposals are due July 31, 2026.
  • Acceptance notifications will be sent in August 25, 2026
  • The first draft of your paper is due October 31, 2026.
  • Final draft of the paper & first draft of PowerPoint due January 31, 2027.
  • The final PowerPoint presentation is due March 5, 2027. 
  • Presenters will receive email communications from IIAR with additional details.

Workshops and Panels

  • Submission proposals for workshops and panels are due September 30, 2026.
  • First draft of Power Point due January 31, 2027.
  • Final Power Point Presentation is due in March 5, 2027.

Missing deadlines may impact your ability to participate in the program.

Peer Reviewer Opportunities

The IIAR Conference Education Program relies on volunteer peer reviewers to help maintain the quality, technical accuracy, and educational value of submitted technical and white papers.

Peer reviewers help evaluate submissions for technical quality, industry relevance, clarity, and educational value.

Serving as a peer reviewer is an opportunity to support industry education, contribute to the development of conference content, and collaborate with other technical professionals within the IIAR community.
